Our scripture for the Daily Devotional today is taken from 1 Chronicles 29: 10-13. Being majestic speaks of impressive and dignified beauty. The word is often used to describe God and His presence. God and His presence in our lives should be leaving an impression!
“David praised the Lord in the presence of the whole assembly, saying,
“Praise be to you, Lord,
the God of our father Israel,
from everlasting to everlasting.
11 Yours, Lord, is the greatness and the power
and the glory and the majesty and the splendor,
for everything in heaven and earth is yours.
Yours, Lord, is the kingdom;
you are exalted as head over all.
12 Wealth and honor come from you;
you are the ruler of all things.
In your hands are strength and power
to exalt and give strength to all.
13 Now, our God, we give you thanks,
and praise your glorious name.“

In Love, God impresses His will
David stood before all the people of Israel and shouted about how God had impressed Himself on him. God had shared with David about Himself, and David in awe and wonder shared God’s majesty with His people.
Acknowledging the kingship and authority of God as the ruler of all things. David continued about how God’s strength holds up or holds down those that He chooses. As the God and creator of all, God deserves our adoration and thanksgiving!
God, the Lord of all is majestic and worthy. Today, allow God’s spirit to impress His majesty on your heart and mind. Then impress on others what your Father has given to you!

Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you, God, that You are the Almighty and great God. I am amazed that I get to call You Father. Today I ask that you give me a new fresh understanding of Yourself, take my breath away with your splendor and beauty!
