Our scripture for the Daily Devotional today is taken from Exodus 15:11-18. Lord, it is my desire to see Your glory fall upon the earth today. May Your presence bring everyone to their knees before You and Your throne, and may their worship as the one and only living God!
“Who among the gods
is like you, Lord?
Who is like you—
majestic in holiness,
awesome in glory,
working wonders?
12 “You stretch out your right hand,
and the earth swallows your enemies.
13 In your unfailing love you will lead
the people you have redeemed.
In your strength you will guide them
to your holy dwelling.
14 The nations will hear and tremble;
anguish will grip the people of Philistia.
15 The chiefs of Edom will be terrified,
the leaders of Moab will be seized with trembling,
the people[c] of Canaan will melt away;
16 terror and dread will fall on them.
By the power of your arm
they will be as still as a stone—
until your people pass by, Lord,
until the people you bought[d] pass by.
17 You will bring them in and plant them
on the mountain of your inheritance—
the place, Lord, you made for your dwelling,
the sanctuary, Lord, your hands established.

18 “The Lord reigns
for ever and ever.”
Think about it, God reigns forever!
In the end, God will have His way and His plan will come to fruition. While that is all good, and reassuring, it doesn’t necessarily change my day-to-day circumstances. While that is true, we are told to take courage from the knowledge that in the end, the good, good God wins.
In my personal situation and daily activity, I may come across continued frustration and heartache. I may be left wondering whether there is any point or overcome by emotions. At this point, we need to tell our souls to remember that our God and Father reigns.
Be reminded that no matter the situation and mountains that we face, God is greater than it all. His unfailing love is our support and crux.
Our God is not one formed from our hands or imaginations, rather He is the only true living God! There is none like Him and none can compare!

Dear Father,
It may be hard at times to see past the immediate struggles. As your child, I hold on tight to the truth that You will but only be victorious. You have demonstrated this through Your sacrifice of Jesus for my salvation!
