Our scripture for the Daily Devotional today is taken from Psalm 145:1-9. How do we know that God is the king of our hearts? Shall it be evident in my praises that will sound for all eternity? Perhaps it is because of His continued salvation and grace!
“I will exalt you, my God the King;
I will praise your name for ever and ever.
2 Every day I will praise you
and extol your name for ever and ever.
3 Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise;
his greatness no one can fathom.
4 One generation commends your works to another;
they tell of your mighty acts.
5 They speak of the glorious splendor of your majesty—
and I will meditate on your wonderful works.[b]
6 They tell of the power of your awesome works—
and I will proclaim your great deeds.
7 They celebrate your abundant goodness
and joyfully sing of your righteousness.

8 The Lord is gracious and compassionate,
slow to anger and rich in love.
9 The Lord is good to all;
he has compassion on all he has made.”
God’s goodness radiates always!
Our Father in heaven is steadfast. He has never caused us to stumble upon the slightest pebble. He the greatest rock of all ages has crushed the head of satan and all of our enemies. While I may cause many problems and consequences throughout life, God is always there!
God is always cleaning up after us and restoring the damage in my wake.
I wish that I would spend a lot more time meditating on the Lord and His laws. God is good and it is who He is, but sometimes, I get in the way, and others may not get to see God’s goodness quite so much. Let us continue to ask for forgiveness and strive to love with the love of Jesus!

Dear Father,
You are the King of my heart. Your exceeding goodness toward me has reset my heart, and only You can satisfy it. May others know today that You alone reign in my heart as Your love overflows from me to touch their lives.
