Our scripture for the Daily Devotional today is taken from Joh 4:21-26. Jesus drew creation around his manger that day that he was born. Creation of all creed and status came to worship their Lord and King as he lay vulnerably.
“Woman,” Jesus replied, “believe me, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. 22 You Samaritans worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews. 23 Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. 24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.”
25 The woman said, “I know that Messiah” (called Christ) “is coming. When he comes, he will explain everything to us.”
26 Then Jesus declared, “I, the one speaking to you—I am he.”
Come let us adore Him!
Jesus, God Himself, came to live among His creation. He had told the prophets and followers for years that He would come to explain and redeem His creation.
God had never intended that worship be limited or confined. God has desired from the beginning to be included in every part of His children’s lives and that every part of life worship Him.
Jesus was worshipped as the King of all kings at His birth. He hung on the cross as the sacrifice and was raised to the throne in heaven. Let us join all creation today in worship. No matter where you find yourself, humble yourself before the throne of the Almighty.
Let’s Pray
Dear Father,
In Your Name,
