Overnight Beauty Treatments to Wake-Up Feeling Beautiful

By Kathleen Case –

The first thing I’m going to tell you (are you ready for this? This is GOLD) is…

….sleep a LOT.

fall scents for your home

Seriously, do you get at least 8 hours of sleep every night? You don’t? Well then, go right back to bed, young lady! And come back later to tell me how you feel.

People don’t take this seriously, however. Because we live in a crazy, crazy world where everything is a mad rat race to the finish line and the only thing that matters is doing as much as you can in very little time and so then who needs sleep anyway? Right?

WRONG.

You need sleep. Period.

And other than getting your eight hours of sleep, here’s what you can do to make sure you wake up feeling beautiful!

Always moisturize

This is something that amuses the hubs immensely. I slather moisture every single night on every possible exposed surface of my skin before going to bed. I moisturize my feet (if you don’t, you ought to), my knees, my elbows, my neck (always massage upwards), my face. Heck, I even moisturize my cuticles before hitting the hay. Put on a pair of your favorite warm, fuzzy socks to seal the moisture in and you’re bound to wake up with baby soft skin every morning.

Cuticle care

So commonly overlooked! So important not to overlook! Dry cuticles are just not attractive and must be done away with at once. Rub a few drops of cuticle oil to your cuticles and then apply some Vaseline to hold it in and your cuticles will be smooth when you wake up.

Sleep with pillows below your head

You know how it’s all too possible to wake up most mornings with puffy eyes? Then you have to scramble around to cut cucumbers to de-puff your eyes yada, yada, yada. Instead, it’s a whole lot easier to just sleep with maybe 2 pillows below your head to help drain the fluids and prevent puffy eyes in the morning.

Teeth whitening

There’s nothing better than waking up to a bright, white smile. So why not try an overnight teeth whitening treatment that could give your pearly whites a white glow in the morning? Use an overnight teeth whitening kit (you can buy this at your local drugstore or over the counter at the pharmacy) and use it to whiten your teeth.

Overnight beachy waves

This is something I do 4 out of 7 days in a week. It’s just one of the easiest ways to get beachy waves when you have a particularly busy morning to wake up to. What I do- wash my hair with a light shampoo and conditioner and work in some serum to make my hair manageable. Then I braid my hair into a simple three strand braid while my hair is still damp. I sleep on a silk cover pillow to avoid frizzy hair. When I wake up in the morning, I have the most perfect beachy waves without even trying.

Letting your hair recuperate

To wake up to soft tresses but rubbing in some leave in conditioner right before you go to bed. For split ends, apply a strengthening or hair repair serum so that it has has plenty of time to work on your hair as you sleep.

Follow these 6 tips and I guarantee when you wake up the next morning, you’ll wake up looking and feeling like a million bucks.

Who am I? I’m Kathleen Case and in my beauty salon I make people pretty. With the help of a fine education provided by Marinello I’m able to make the people of the world beautiful one face at a time.
