Although I’m not seeing as much sunshine or blue skies as I would like, flowers are blooming and you know what that means: SPRING! It may not be time to go bare- legged or pull out your open-toed sandals just yet, but it’s a great time to start transitioning from cooler weather style into your spring and summer wardrobe with the right accessories.

If it’s not quite warm enough to pull out your warm weather wardrobe jump start spring by adding fun accessories. An easy, stylish and affordable way to do this is to update your earring collection. While statement necklaces are great too, earrings remain both a classic and contemporary accessory for women with style.

One look I love is the delicate, silver leaf style earring that has been popping up from the runways to the high street. The silver tone looks great with all skin types, and is easy to pair with this spring’s hottest colors like bright, golden yellows and breezy blues.

Whether you are working, out for coffee with a girlfriend, or enjoying a night out, this style can complement any outfit of your choosing. They are the ultimate transitional piece!

Below are three examples of stylish (and better yet, affordable!) silver, leaf shaped earring that I’m currently swooning over.

1. The Andea Sterling Silver Thin Textured Leaf Drop Earring (£25.00 John Lewis)

This lengthened, slim style is ideal for anyone wishing to elongate the appearance of their face.

2. Van Peterson 925 Designer Sterling Silver Leaf Cutout Drop Earrings (£30.00 Debenhams)

This leaf skeleton is perfect for those looking for a more lightweight, feminine style earring.

3. Silver Tea Leaf Earrings ( £17.50 The Earring Company)

The best thing about these earrings? They, like all items on The Earring Company’s website,
are also available in a screw on style for those wishing to accessorize without a piercing.
