Daily yDevotional – God’s Promises for 2023 #17

Daily Devotional

Our scripture for the Daily Devotional today is taken from Isaiah 43:1-7. No matter where you find yourself, God has promised that He will be there with you. If you feel that you are drowning in deep waters or burnt by the flames, your Father is there with you.

“But now, this is what the Lord says—
    he who created you, Jacob,
    he who formed you, Israel:
“Do not fear, for I have redeemed you;
    I have summoned you by name; you are mine.
When you pass through the waters,
    I will be with you;
and when you pass through the rivers,
    they will not sweep over you.
When you walk through the fire,
    you will not be burned;
    the flames will not set you ablaze.
For I am the Lord your God,
    the Holy One of Israel, your Savior;
I give Egypt for your ransom,
    Cush[a] and Seba in your stead.
Since you are precious and honored in my sight,
    and because I love you,
I will give people in exchange for you,
    nations in exchange for your life.
Do not be afraid, for I am with you;
    I will bring your children from the east
    and gather you from the west.
I will say to the north, ‘Give them up!’
    and to the south, ‘Do not hold them back.’
Bring my sons from afar
    and my daughters from the ends of the earth—
everyone who is called by my name,
    whom I created for my glory,
    whom I formed and made.”

God promises to be with us!

The Lord who created and formed you in the womb of your mother has called you unto Himself. He redeemed and paid the full cost for us by sending Jesus to the cross so that we could receive salvation from sin and death.

In the same way that God protected and lead the Israelites, He will lead and protect us. He provided a cloud and pillar of fire to give His children the perfect conditions and He will be doing the same for you and me.

The promise from our God and Father is that He is with us no matter what. Let us confidently stand firm in place because God is protecting us from every direction.

Let’s Pray

Dear Father,

gifts or mom

Thank you Father that You are with me in every circumstance. Help me to look to You and in faith be confident of Your saving grace!

In Jesus’ Name,

Amen
