Let love and faithfulness never leave you

Many of our problems throughout history have been self-inflicted. From more recent history with the 2008 financial crisis to the ancient times of the Israelite kings. So often we see people walking away from God’s wisdom and laws. Although the consequences don’t hit them right away before too long people are crying out for God’s saving grace.

I always wonder why we do not learn to “not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart”. God’s laws derived from His wisdom and understanding gives us the structure within which we can thrive. When will we stop leaning on our own understanding and sinful ways?

Let us write the laws of God on our hearts. The law of love and kindness!

Let’s Pray

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you, Father, that you have created the path for me to go. Forgive me for always wanting to do my own thing and trust my own ways. I look to You now for Your ways and leadership.
