Our scripture for the Daily Devotional today is taken from Genesis 1:26-28. There was a purpose for our creation. From the beginning, God created us for Him and to be with Him and to rule over His creation. We have gotten so lost from the beginning purpose.
“Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals,[a] and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”
27 So God created mankind in his own image,
in the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them.

28 God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”
We were created with a purpose
Many of us have rightfully believed that we have been created for a purpose. But what purpose? Have we allowed the things of this world to fill and cloud our judgment? We have become consumed by the temporary and physical things rather than the true purpose and meaning of life.
Our Father created us and sustains us each and every day. Without the careful guarding and guiding of our lives, we would cease to exist. The Almighty God keeps our hearts beating and lungs breathing every moment of the day.

Let us not forget the value that God has placed on our lives. He created us with a primary purpose of being with us and having our presence in His life!
Let’s Pray
Dear Father,
Thank you that You have created me. I know that You created me for a purpose and that purpose is to love and live in Your presence. Today, I draw nearer to You, just to be with You.
