Our scripture for the Daily Devotional today is taken from Genesis 1:29-31. Before sin entered the earth, there was a perfect canvas upon which God created our world. Now that we live in this sinful world we are left trying to bring the Kingdom of God to earth!
“Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. 30 And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds in the sky and all the creatures that move along the ground—everything that has the breath of life in it—I give every green plant for food.” And it was so.
31 God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning—the sixth day.”

God created a perfect world!
You might be sitting there wondering if this is all crumbling down. When we look at society and the world around us, it is easy to see the fruit of a fallen and sinful world. You may question whether God is truly in control.
We can long for a world filled with love, peace, and the rule of our God. For those filled with the Holy Spirit, this desire is only natural. God births the desire and love within our hearts and souls.
When we follow the word of God, we are told that God holds and controls everything in the universe and world. We can also take Him at His word that He will return to establish His Kingdom and restore the earth. It may not occur during our lives that the entire earth is ruled by the King of kings, but we can still reverently surrender our world to His Kingdom.

Let’s Pray
Dear Father,
Thank you Father that You are in total control. Nothing happens in this world without Your knowledge and I ask that You, Your Holy Spirit come and brings Your Kingdom to my world today.
In Jesus’ Name,
