Our scripture for the Daily Devotional today is taken from Genesis 1:20-23. God created the perfect source and provision for His creation so far. The fish kind in the ocean and water and birds in the sky had no interaction yet were sustained.
“And God said, “Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the vault of the sky.” 21 So God created the great creatures of the sea and every living thing with which the water teems and that moves about in it, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. 22 God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the water in the seas, and let the birds increase on the earth.” 23 And there was evening, and there was morning—the fifth day.”
God filled the sea and sky!
The waters that God first created were filled with living creatures first. The creation was good and the fish kind lived in a fully sustainable environment beneath the waves. God blessed them with an increase.

The skies were filled with small and large birds that took to the sky. It was good and brought joy to the Lord of the earth.
When we follow the word of God, we are told that God created all things and that they were good. He has blessed His creation to be fruitful and multiply. While we may live in a fallen world, we can all still submit to God and His blessing.
Let’s Pray
Dear Father,
Thank you Father that You have created the fish and birds from Your perfect goodness. While I marvel at Your creation, I see the most amazing creator and ask that You lead me today by Your Holy Spirit.
In Jesus’ Name,
