Our scripture for the Daily Devotional today is taken from 1 Timothy 4:1-7. God created you and all that is around you. He created is beautifully and perfectly. Send out your thanksgiving to Him for creating you wonderfully!
“The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. 2 Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron. 3 They forbid people to marry and order them to abstain from certain foods, which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and who know the truth. 4 For everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, 5 because it is consecrated by the word of God and prayer.
6 If you point these things out to the brothers and sisters,[a] you will be a good minister of Christ Jesus, nourished on the truths of the faith and of the good teaching that you have followed. 7 Have nothing to do with godless myths and old wives’ tales; rather, train yourself to be godly.”

Be Thankful for God’s perfect works
Be thankful for your creation. Without the breath of life filling our lungs, we would not be a living creature. I am thankful for God creating you. I am thankful that God created me, my family, and each of the lives that are intricately woven together.
Be wary of the religious people that create rules so strict that they do not follow them, themselves. God created us first and foremost for Him and His pleasure, and then to enjoy the good things He has created around us. Within the protective boundaries of God is great pleasure and joy.
Look up towards the heavens today and shout for joy. Tell God how much you appreciate and value His good creation.

Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you, Father, for the creation that You have created for me to enjoy. Not only the high mountains and vast seas but all of Your children too. Today I will revel in Your marvelous creation!
