Our scripture for the Daily Devotional today is taken from Psalm 18:25-32. If you find your righteousness, purity, and strength in Jesus, God will show up. Your heavenly Father will be faithful and pure in His dealings toward you.
“To the faithful you show yourself faithful,
to the blameless you show yourself blameless,
26 to the pure you show yourself pure,
but to the devious you show yourself shrewd.
27 You save the humble
but bring low those whose eyes are haughty.
28 You, Lord, keep my lamp burning;
my God turns my darkness into light.
29 With your help I can advance against a troop[e];
with my God I can scale a wall.
I will find myself worshipping God
No matter where you are today, no matter the circumstances facing you, you are closer to God and His presence than you think. Where you are, you can close your eyes and be swept off your feet as you focus on God and His presence.
You could stare directly into the face and beauty of God. Marvel at His splendor and majesty as you find His fingerprints everywhere you look. As you focus on it being just you and your savior, Jesus will instill himself into you!
As a follower of Christ, I acknowledge that He is not only the light of the world but that He is the son of God. Jesus is perfect and flawless in every way. Let us resign ourselves to the Spirit and allow Him to mold and lead us.
Let’s Pray
Dear Jesus,
In Your Name,
Amen
