Our scripture for the Daily Devotional today is taken from Isaiah 40:27-31. A battle cry is a yell with the aim to invoke a sense of confidence. As we raise a hallelujah and sing praise toward the throne of God, we remind ourselves of the victory that has already been sealed by Jesus!
“Why do you complain, Jacob?
Why do you say, Israel,
“My way is hidden from the Lord;
my cause is disregarded by my God”?
28 Do you not know?
Have you not heard?
The Lord is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
and his understanding no one can fathom.
29 He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak.
30 Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;
31 but those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.”
Let us get louder and louder
The roar of victory rings in my ears as I remember that Jesus has risen from the dead. Not only did He sacrifice Himself for us, but He conquered death, trampling on the head of the serpent that came to steal, kill, and destroy.

As we face uncertain times, it is all too easy to become frustrated and retaliate. We lash out in many ways with our words, our actions, and our defiance. We become frustrated and weary as we fight our battles ourselves.
Let us remember today that we do not fight against flesh and blood. So let us shout out our praise and worship as a battle cry as heavens angels and God come to my aide. Our Father will fight on our behalf and give us the strength that we need to hold onto Him!
