Our scripture for the Daily Devotional today is taken from Hebrews 12: 25-29. You are an heir to a kingdom that can not be shaken. Not by earthly kings or leaders, nor by spiritual principalities. The kingdom of God is ruled by the all-powerful king. A king that all knees shall bow before one day!
25 See to it that you do not refuse him who speaks. If they did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, how much less will we, if we turn away from him who warns us from heaven? 26 At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, “Once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens.” 27 The words “once more” indicate the removing of what can be shaken—that is, created things—so that what cannot be shaken may remain.
28 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, 29 for our “God is a consuming fire.”

Having experienced an earthquake, I have experienced the feeling of the earthmoving and shaking beneath my feet. With all my strength I couldn’t stop the movement and falling artwork from the walls. Buildings engineered to stand for many years, crumble to dust in seconds during an earthquake.
The earth shook (Matthew 27: 51) with the death of Jesus on the cross. God as said that He will shake not only the earth but the heavens in the future. Consider the power that would shake the heavens and the earth.
God’s kingdom shall remain and shall be all that remains. The almighty, all-powerful God that rules the kingdom is our God! He is the one to whom we cry out to and pray for deliverance and breakthrough. If He can shake the heavens and earth, He can powerfully intervene in your life!

Dear Heavenly Father,
You are the Almighty, all-powerful God. You hold the world and heavens within your hands. I come before you today knowing who I call upon, I humbly consider you and pray that you will be glorified and exalted.
