Daily Devotional – My Hope Is In The Almighty

Daily Devotional

Our scripture for the Daily Devotional today is taken from Hebrews 10:19-25. We have a the reason to be confident in life and in the storms that come our way. We can be confident in the blood of Jesus that has covered all our transgressions, setting us free to live a life full of hope.

“Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, 20 by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body, 21 and since we have a great priest over the house of God, 22 let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, 25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”

What are you hoping that God will do?

What are you professing and speaking to others about? Do you tell others, including yourself, about the character and person of Jesus?

fall scents for your home

If we evaluate our speech and words spoken, others should hear us speaking about who God is, and what He is doing. Our words will confirm our beliefs, desires, and what we are hoping for. Our faith is the wind behind our sails of hope. Faith gives us the strength and perseverance to continue despite the circumstances around us.

Greater things lie before us and God has not surrendered His creation. Let us speak our hopes out loud with assurance knowing that it is because our hope is in our savior Jesus. He was able to overcome all sin, death on the cross and is faithful to His body!

Let’s Pray

Dear Father,

Thank you Father that You have given me hope. In a world where I am attacked from every direction, I know that I just need to come to you. You will give me rest and comfort. Receive me today as I come to You.

In Jesus’s Name,
Amen
