Daily Devotional – Miracles of the New Testament 11
Our scripture for the Daily Devotional today is taken from Matthew 9:27-34. Satan comes to destroy and kill God’s creation. He purposefully targets the children of their creator to bind and tie up and restrain. We need to break free from the one holding us down.
“As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed him, calling out, “Have mercy on us, Son of David!”
28 When he had gone indoors, the blind men came to him, and he asked them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?”
“Yes, Lord,” they replied.
29 Then he touched their eyes and said, “According to your faith let it be done to you”; 30 and their sight was restored. Jesus warned them sternly, “See that no one knows about this.” 31 But they went out and spread the news about him all over that region.
32 While they were going out, a man who was demon-possessed and could not talk was brought to Jesus. 33 And when the demon was driven out, the man who had been mute spoke. The crowd was amazed and said, “Nothing like this has ever been seen in Israel.”
34 But the Pharisees said, “It is by the prince of demons that he drives out demons.”
Shout praise and worship to the Almighty God!
We enter the courts and presence of the Almighty with praise. When we look heavenward and sing of the one seated on the throne, the angels usher us in. All that comes before the King of kings will bow and reverence the Lord, and so it is dangerous to enter without our praise.
God has created us for His presence and for fellowship. when we find ourselves apart from Him and our purpose, we can so easily become distracted and overtaken by our enemy.
Let us come before God today and have Him miraculously remove all that hinders us from speaking and shouting His glory. Let our words be powerful and of substance as we praise the name of God!

Dear Father,
Thank you that You are the one that releases me from all the sin that entraps and holds me down. I will use my words today to sing your praise and shout about the mighty King that You are!
