Daily Devotional – God’s Promises for 2023 #25

Daily Devotional

Our scripture for the Daily Devotional today is taken from Psalm 34:1-11. Jesus said that we should be grafted into the Father like a branch is attached to the trunk. The same nutrients that flow through the trunk, flow through the branches.

“I will extol the Lord at all times;
    his praise will always be on my lips.
I will glory in the Lord;
    let the afflicted hear and rejoice.
Glorify the Lord with me;
    let us exalt his name together.

I sought the Lord, and he answered me;
    he delivered me from all my fears.
Those who look to him are radiant;
    their faces are never covered with shame.
This poor man called, and the Lord heard him;
    he saved him out of all his troubles.
The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him,
    and he delivers them.

fall scents for your home

Taste and see that the Lord is good;
    blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.
Fear the Lord, you his holy people,
    for those who fear him lack nothing.
10 The lions may grow weak and hungry,
    but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing.
11 Come, my children, listen to me;
    I will teach you the fear of the Lord.”

God promises to give us a heart!

What happens when you squeeze your toothpaste tube? Does toothpaste flow from the tube? If I am one with the Lord then what flows from His heart will flow from my lips. We need to be completely reborn, dying to this word and surrendering to the will of God.

Let us rejoice in the Lord today and welcome others to join in the exaltation of the Almighty.

The promise from our God and Father is that He will create in us His heart. As we invest our efforts in connecting with our Father, our return will be minds and hearts transformed to the will of God.

Let’s Pray

Dear Father,

Thank you Father that You give me and write upon my heart and mind Your will, laws, and ways. Lead me with Your Holy Spirit today so that I can bring Your Kingdom to the world around me.

In Jesus’ Name,

Amen
