Our scripture for the Daily Devotional today is taken from Psalm 37:21-28. Walking through life we may sometimes make a miss-step that will leave us unsteady and shaken. Our Father reminds us that He is right there to support us!
“The wicked borrow and do not repay,
but the righteous give generously;
22 those the Lord blesses will inherit the land,
but those he curses will be destroyed.
23 The Lord makes firm the steps
of the one who delights in him;
24 though he may stumble, he will not fall,
for the Lord upholds him with his hand.

25 I was young and now I am old,
yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken
or their children begging bread.
26 They are always generous and lend freely;

27 Turn from evil and do good;
then you will dwell in the land forever.
28 For the Lord loves the just
and will not forsake his faithful ones.”
God promises to hold us up!
Walking on firm ground gives stability and allows for security. Knowing that you can trust where you put your foot builds your confidence in the journey. The world pretends and puts up a facade of strength and stability while Jesus is there with us to help us up.
God through time has sought to find those that earnestly and truly seek Him and His presence. Not worried about or concerned about the temporary things of this earth, God loves us to find joy, peace, and purpose in Him.
The promise from our God and Father is that He will not forsake us and leave us to our own demise. Those that seek Him will find Him!

Dear Father,
Thank you Father that You are the one that comes alongside and behind me to pick up the pieces that I sometimes leave behind. Help me today to leave a trail of love and kindness.
