Our scripture for the Daily Devotional today is taken from Psalm 98:1-9. God remembered His promises to His children and chosen people. He had remembered to love, protect and save His creation from the sin that they caused.
“Sing to the Lord a new song,
for he has done marvelous things;
his right hand and his holy arm
have worked salvation for him.
2 The Lord has made his salvation known
and revealed his righteousness to the nations.
3 He has remembered his love
and his faithfulness to Israel;
all the ends of the earth have seen
the salvation of our God.
4 Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth,
burst into jubilant song with music;
5 make music to the Lord with the harp,
with the harp and the sound of singing,
6 with trumpets and the blast of the ram’s horn—
shout for joy before the Lord, the King.
7 Let the sea resound, and everything in it,
the world, and all who live in it.
8 Let the rivers clap their hands,
let the mountains sing together for joy;
9 let them sing before the Lord,
for he comes to judge the earth.
He will judge the world in righteousness
and the peoples with equity.”
God would save everyone till the ends of the earth
The Lord, creator, and King of all is able to do as He pleases. He is greater than everything that we can see or could imagine. God has done great things in the past, continues to do great things today, and is yet to do greater things in the future.
God remembered that He was going to save us and so would come to live among us. The only blood worthy of the sacrifice was the blood of God Himself. Jesus, the son of God, paid the price for all to be saved so that God could welcome each and everyone from the corners of the earth into His courts.
God was able to save us then and He is able to save us now. Let us cry out with a shout of joy and jubilation. Sing at the top of our lungs, with total abandonment, in praise of the Almighty God that is able to overcome everything and all.
Let’s Pray
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you, Father, that You sent Jesus in human form to save us. The greatest gift and act of love hung on the cross 2,000 years ago. You are able and worthy for me to place my faith and hope in.
In Jesus Name,
Amen
