Daily Devotional – 11th Day of Christ-mas

Daily devotional

Our scripture for the Daily Devotional today is taken from Galatians 3:23-29. The Father watched over the birth of His son with a sense of excitement and pride. Jesus, the Son of God would bring all mankind together in love.

Before the coming of this faith,[j] we were held in custody under the law, locked up until the faith that was to come would be revealed. 24 So the law was our guardian until Christ came that we might be justified by faith. 25 Now that this faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian.

26 So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, 27 for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.”

Jesus attracted people to His manger

The Father God shared His love for His creation by sending Jesus. God wanted to draw all His creation unto Himself to restore His purpose and story. He succeeded on that night in Bethlehem, bringing society’s lowest and highest members together.

God had never intended to separate His creation from Himself, our sin did that. God’s plan was to restore the relationship with each child with Himself despite our individual situations. Equally, we were created and loved by God, equally, we have received our salvation.

Let us remember this Christmas how our Heavenly Father so loved us that He took the first step in restoring our relationship. Let us remember that Jesus came to so that He could die for all and level the ground before the throne of the Almighty God. Whosoever chooses Jesus’ salvation shall receive it!

Let’s Pray

Dear Father,

Thank you for Father for loving us all as much as You do. Thank you for coming to live among us and bringing Your peace and joy for us to experience. Help me to love unconditionally each and every person I come across.

In Your Name,

Amen
