Allumière Antiaging Cream

This lightweight, fast-absorbing cream provides the hydrating benefits of a moisturizer with the power of an anti-aging concentrate.  Anogeissus Leiocarpa Bark Extract and Vitamin C work synergistically to increase the incorporation of Vitamin C in the skin, significantly boosting antioxidant capability and collagen synthesis.   Powerful, bioavailable peptides rebuild and restore skin from the inside out to lift, fill, and smooth out wrinkles.  Features comfrey stem cells and a probiotic to speed skin renewal and turnover while tomato-derived carotenoids fight UV damage and lighten skin.  Sandalwood and Barley Extract reduce water loss and stimulates lipids found naturally in skin.  Addresses signs of aging caused by UV damage, glycation, gravity, and dryness.  This rich, luxurious cream rewinds the years to reveal smooth, supple and healthy skin.

Niuvella Antiaging Serum

This lightweight, fast absorbing anti-aging cream features auto-adapting technology to provide the ultimate comfort and protection in all climates.  A marine-based neuro-soother addresses one of the root causes of aging and wrinkles — inflammation.  It fights inflammation by soothing irritated skin and reducing skin sensitivity.  Probiotics restores skin’s self-renewal to increase skin thickness, reduce moisture loss, and boost skin immunity.  Counteracts photoaging with soybean seed extract and olive fruit revealing an increase in skin smoothness, firmness, hydration, and elasticity while decreasing wrinkle depth. Anogeissus Leiocarpa Bark Extract increases the incorporation of Vitamin C in the skin, significantly boosting antioxidant capability and collagen synthesis. Formulated with snow algae powder to protect skin on a cellular level by fighting oxidative stress, detoxifying, and repairing.  Snow algae, found in semi-permanent to permanent snow or ice in the alpine or polar regions of the world, activates longevity factors to extend the youthfulness of skin.

Chemical Peels

Alphahydroxy acid is the most common of the several chemical peels available as it is light and requires no recovery time – these treatments need to be done more frequently (every few months or so) to achieve the same results as the stronger peels.  Trichloroacetic acid is considered a “medium strength” peel and is best for finer wrinkles and blemishes. Recovery time is minimal and you should see new and healthier skin in about a week or less.  Phenol is the strongest chemical compound and is a key ingredient in so-called “deep peels.”  This procedure can only be done to the face (versus neck or chest region).  Also, because of the strength of the chemical, there may be several days or so of recovery time as there is typically some redness and swelling as the new skin begins to regenerate after the procedure.

Radiesse

A popular way to look more youthful and eliminate smile lines and other signs of aging from the face and neck without surgery is to use hyaluronic acid injectable dermal fillers.  Millions of people worldwide are using dermal fillers to look their very best and restore their youthful beauty.  RADIESSE Volumizing Filler is one of the most popular and effective options on the market today and works by restoring “…facial volume to smooth out the signs of aging…” and offers longer lasting results then other fillers.  The formula is based on “…tiny calcium-based microspheres suspended in a water-based gel…over time, the body absorbs the microspheres and gel, leaving behind only natural collagen.” RADIESSE works on smile lines at the corners of mouth and around the nose, marionette lines that run downward from the corners of the mouth, pre-jowl – where skin can sag in the jowl are usually due to loss of facial volume and chin wrinkles which are horizontal lines that can form on your chin and distract from your beautiful smile.

Juvederm

JUVEDERM is an FDA-approved “cross link” hyaluronic acid.  “Cross-linking” refers to the process “…through which hyaluronic acid is made into a gel product that can be injected into the skin.”  JUVÉDERM Ultra XC and JUVÉDERM Ultra Plus XC are injected by your dermatologist into the mid to deep dermis (below the outer layer of skin) for the correction of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds.  The injections themselves usually last about 15 minutes so it is one of easiest and quickest cosmetic dermatological treatments available.  The most common side effects include temporary redness or tenderness at the injection site(s).  Most patients can return to their daily routine almost immediately.  For patients who do not want the long recovery time associated with plastic surgery, dermal fillers are an excellent option to consider.

Restylane

Restylane is an injectable gel that has been on the market for more than a decade and has become well-known and used by doctors and patients worldwide.  Restylane is specially formulated to add a fuller and younger look to the lips, as well as to correct severe facial wrinkles and folds, “…such as the lines from your nose to the corners of your mouth (nasolabial folds),” according to the company.   According to experts, the injectable gel has been used in more than “…15 million treatments in more than 65 countries worldwide…” and has an excellent safety record.  Each of Restylane, Restylane-L®, Perlane®, and Perlane-L® is made up of clear “…gel formulation of hyaluronic acid that is specifically formulated to act like your body by producing naturally produced hyaluronic acid.”  Restalyne contributes to a fuller, fresher look for your skin that can erase moderate to severe wrinkles.

Thermage

Thermage is one of the latest treatments dermatologists are using to help patients achieve smoother, tighter skin.  Thermage is a safe, non-invasive cosmetic procedure and an excellent alternative to costly, risky plastic surgery for people who are starting to notice signs of aging.  Thermage is commonly used to eliminate wrinkles, tighten sagging skin and make fine lines disappear.  Thermage delivers energy from radio waves to heat collagen, a structural protein located in the deep layers of the skin.  Thermage builds and contracts collagen, which tightens the skin’s appearance.  During each pulse of the radio frequency waves, the outer layer of the skin is cooled while the deeper layers of skin and fat are heated to induce further collagen tightening.  This relatively new treatment has become an extremely popular facial rejuvenation procedure for people who are looking for an alternative to a full facelift.  The skin’s natural collagen production is stimulated and existing collagen is tightened further. The result is smoother and tighter skin. Wrinkles and fine lines are reduced, and the skin appears years younger.  The results from Thermage tend to last years, compared to other non-invasive treatments that tend to only last six months to a year and Thermage can be performed on a number of areas of the body besides the face, including areas around the thighs, knees, stomach, neck and buttocks.
