Italy is one of the most beautiful countries of Europe, positioned as the 5th largely populated country. History, religious scriptures, art, paintings, literature, theater and other such features unite together to form this country. Popular for having many tourist attractions, many newly married couples also choose Italy as their honeymoon destination. This country has gifted the world intelligent men like Galileo, famous brands like Armani and also popular tenors like Luciano Pavarotti.

1) Mont Blanc:

It is one of the most popularly known landscapes in the entire world. There are many painters who have made the painting of this landscape successfully and several tourists buy posters of this eye delighting sight to decorate their walls or gift it to their loved ones.

2) Pompeii:

Due to the volcanic eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD, the entire city of Pompeii was covered with ash and soil, preserving it from being burnt by the eruption. Hence, this city gives an excellent exposure of the lives of people and the kinds of things they used during their time. This is said to be the second most visited location in Italy, after Venice.

3) City of Water (Venice):

It has many romantic gondolas that flow with the calm water of the Grand Canal, which consists of 150 canals peacefully joint together. Due to the romance in air, this is mostly visited by young couples in love. This location is also seen in many movies.

4) Colosseum:

This tourist attraction is the most preserved one since it was built in 72 AD and was once a royal theater that had the strength to accommodate more than 50,000 spectators; with 80 different entrances. This is although not in the same condition as it was in the olden days, it is yet widely known for its attractive architecture.

5) Santa Maria Del Fiore:

Known as the major symbol of Florence, this is the largest brick dome in the entire world. It is a peaceful and beautiful church, which continues to remain the largest one of this country. It gives a glimpse of three different shades, namely pink, white and green and is made up of smooth and hard marble.

Italy is not only eye delighting, but also equally known for its tongue delighting cuisines. Parmigianino Reggiano cheese is one of the specialties of Italy, served as breakfast, with extra soft breads in many Hotels. The best part of Italian cuisine is that it comes straight from the grandmother’s kitchen and not from the table of professional chefs.
