How often do you get to the gym in a week? Are your workouts producing results? If not do you wonder why or do you just go along with the notion that you are getting older and your body is not like it was when you were 25, and you accept it as fact that this is just the way it goes after a certain age? You’ve gained a few pounds or 30! Your cholesterol is elevated, your blood pressure is elevated, and you are taking a pill for this and a pill for that and no matter what you seem to be doing none of it seems to be working.

What if you could have an overall improved body image in as little as three months just by changing your work out and diet routine and rebalancing your hormone levels to youthful status, naturally, through bio-identical replacement?

As we age we lose our hormones. Without hormones we begin to get the aging illnesses, such as osteoporosis, cardiovascular diseases, high cholesterol to name a few.

Women who are in the stages of peri-menopause or menopause begin to have an increased incidence of aging illness due in part to the loss of estrogen, progesterone and testosterone. As we age it is a given that these hormones are decreasing in our bodies. We begin to lose our energy, our libido, our muscle tone. We look in the mirror and wonder where our waistlines of 20 years ago went. We go to our doctors and explain our symptoms and what is the first thing he offers? Anti-depressants.

Working out and staying fit is the best anti-depressant around. At this time in your life it is discouraging to watch your once youthful body decline. In order to maneuver through the stress of everyday life one needs to treat one’s body like it was training for a marathon. It is important to maintain one’s health through fitness and healthy nutrition.

Many people spend hours doing some form of fitness and are probably eating very healthy, but after a certain age if one’s hormone levels are in the declining stages, and they are for everyone by age 50, no amount of exercise or dieting will build muscle or give your body the lean look of your youth, or the energy you are lacking unless your hormones are rebalanced, naturally, with BHRT (bio-identical hormone therapy). These are plant-based hormones designed to mimic one’s own body hormones. They are not the artificial hormones of yesterday. A compounding pharmacist compounds the hormone and it is placed topically on the skin. Your physician must write a prescription for them and lab work should be done initially to determine baseline levels.

I can only tell you that I am living proof that through fitness, good nutrition and the use of bio-identical hormone therapy you can maintain your youthful body and energy levels. Begin your fitness program today by simply calling us.
