Christmas items are taking over our shops and I can’t help but cringe when I look at the price tags. Most of us start the festival spree with shopping and by the time the gifts are purchased and wrapped, more than 90% of the budget is spent.
There is so much kitsch in the stores, big plastic Santa’s, inflatable reindeer, it’s time to create your own classy holiday look.
So, if you have the energy left to think about decorating, here are some ideas on how to deck the halls without breaking the bank.
Bringing the outside in will give you the fresh organic vib!
Miniature Pinecone Trees Centerpiece
It’s time to get out Grandma’s old silver candle holders, bowls and platters. Add a little glitter and paint, or even snow if desired. Striking!
Easy Holiday Candles
Simplicity is elegant. Glass containers purchased at the $1 store, filled with white sand and red berries. Cheers!
Use non-traditional colors. Perfect for apartments and small spaces this floor length mirror was enhanced with cards taped in the shape of a tree. Chic!
Simple and Thrifty Centerpiece

Embellish with fresh twigs, Xmas bobbles and ornaments.
Instant Wall Décor Make an Impressive Entry
Small framed wood letters and topped with bows hung symmetrically. Impressive!
Not everyone is dreaming of a white Christmas. A new touch of color will update your old holiday decorations. Here I’ve added turquoise. Voila!
Peace. Love, Joy
Bobbles hung with simple sentiments on colorful ribbon make a fun and festive window. Notable!
Embrace vintage pieces. Just gather your favorite objects and add a little garland. Classy!
A Salvation Army Holiday never looked so good. Thrift stores are an absolute treasure chest. So, remember with a little planning and creativity… you don’t have to deck the halls with bough of money!!!
