Our scripture for the Daily Devotional today is taken from Psalm 133:1-3. God has chosen to use His church and bride to be His example and messenger across the earth. God takes joy and pleasure in His children joining together and in one voice worshipping.
“How good and pleasant it is
when God’s people live together in unity!
2 It is like precious oil poured on the head,
running down on the beard,
running down on Aaron’s beard,
down on the collar of his robe.
3 It is as if the dew of Hermon
were falling on Mount Zion.
For there the Lord bestows his blessing,
even life forevermore.”

The church coming together is an act of worship.
Oil and incense create a beautiful scent and aroma. The scent is pleasing and enjoyable to take in. The body of Christ coming together in worship or in fellowship is similar. It brings great joy and delight to God to witness.
God blesses the coming together of His children and church. He blesses us with peace, strength, and the and skills of others. We get to experience the wonders of God and feel His presence, but God has planned it so that the church helps each other.
When you smile and spread joy, you encourage and uplift others. As the two of you bond and find common ground, God takes joy. There is no better achievement in life than to hear our Father say, “well done my good and faithful servant!”

Dear Father,
I know that the unity of Your church is important to You. Having peace and a common purpose between Your church not only brings joy for You but gives me purpose and a family to love and be loved by! Help me today to bring Your family together.
