Daily Devotional – Rejoice Today

Our scripture for the Daily Devotional today is taken from 4 Philippians 6-9. No matter the day behind you, or the potential day ahead of you, Rejoice! Rejoice because you can be thankful and grateful for a salvation that is not going to be fleeting!

“Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! 5 Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. 6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. 9 Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.“

Rejoice, Jesus has provided you with salvation

Writing this I am praying and crying out to God for His intervention. I need to see Him transverse from the spiritual world into the physical world. There needs to be His miraculous action into my life.

I have so much to be anxious and worried about. I feel as though I have reached a dead-end, and feel as though I have no solutions. No matter the amount I pray or how often I ask God for His word, I do not know what lies ahead.

Despite all this, I will rejoice today. Today I will take even 5 mins to sing and praise the name of Jesus my savior because He is worthy. No matter my situation, nothing has changed about God and who He is. So join me in rejoicing!

Dear Father, 

I am thankful that you have given me a beating heart, and lungs full of air today. I will rejoice in You and praise You today, because you are worthy!
