Our scripture for the Daily Devotional today is taken from Ephesians 6:18-20. Our communication with God under the new covenant is possible at all times. Because of the blood of Jesus, we can freely enter the courts of the Almighty God!
“And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. 19 Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, 20 for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should.”
Do you take advantage of the access?
How often do we speak our minds and thoughts? What I wonder is, how often do we speak the thoughts and desires of our flesh as opposed to the desire and will of our Father in heaven. So often Jesus would say that He was fulfilling the will of the Father.

In the old covenant, the general Israelite or gentile was not given access to the Holy of Holies. Today, we have direct access at any time and any location to the throne room of God. No matter what circumstance we are in, Jesus, our savior is just a prayer away.
Let us take full advantage of the open doors and our welcoming Father. We can walk confidently into the presence of the only living God and speak with Him about anything and everything. Let’s take some time today to do just that.
