Our scripture for the Daily Devotional today is taken from Psalm 50:7-15. The Bible and word of God has many examples and guiding words to show us how to live a life of blessing and abundance. God reveals Himself to us and how He wants us to live out a life walking among man and Him.
“Listen, my people, and I will speak;
I will testify against you, Israel:
I am God, your God.
8 I bring no charges against you concerning your sacrifices
or concerning your burnt offerings, which are ever before me.
9 I have no need of a bull from your stall
or of goats from your pens,
10 for every animal of the forest is mine,
and the cattle on a thousand hills.
11 I know every bird in the mountains,
and the insects in the fields are mine.
12 If I were hungry I would not tell you,
for the world is mine, and all that is in it.
13 Do I eat the flesh of bulls
or drink the blood of goats?
14 “Sacrifice thank offerings to God,
fulfill your vows to the Most High,
15 and call on me in the day of trouble;
I will deliver you, and you will honor me.”

We are created in His image

We serve the Almighty! God is the ruler and Lord of all. He owns the “cattle of a thousand hills“. We have not merely created our God from stone or wood, rather our God, the only living God created us. He created us in His image with His DNA and a hole in our hearts that only He can fill.
Have you created something? The most rewarding part I experience as an entrepreneur is seeing the business fulfill its purpose in providing products and services that add value to the lives of people. I certainly have felt the call from God to create, and it is something that brings me such great joy.
Many people that we will come in contact with each day do not see the joy of creation. They live a life that is serving their personal needs and desires. The problem with this is that life is not one that aligns with God’s purposes and will. God desires that we replicate His creative powers and create for His kingdom.

Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you, Father, for creating me in Your image. You have given me parts and characteristics of You. Help me to live a life that honors and glorifies You and Your kingdom!
