Daily Devotional – No Separation From Love

Daily Devotional

Our scripture for the Daily Devotional today is taken from Romans 8:31-39. Love binds us close to the lover of our soul. We are protected huddle up close and under the wings of the Almighty God!

“What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? 33 Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. 34 Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 36 As it is written:

“For your sake we face death all day long;
    we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”[j]

fall scents for your home

37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[k] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Nothing can separate us from the love of God

No matter where the path of life leads you, you are as close to God as you ever could be on this earth. With life as we hope it to be, or if we are being persecuted, no one or nothing can pry us away from God and His love.

Jesus, our savior, and bridegroom, is on His knees before the throne of God praying for you and me. Never ceasing, never giving up on His love, Jesus petitions on our behalf before the Father.

So often we can hear those that say how they just feel something about their prayer life. I have been there before, questioning God about why I felt so isolated and neglected. This is so far from reality, as nothing can or will ever separate us from Jesus.

Jesus finished the battles on the cross, and we are able to live victoriously protected and loved by our Creator and Father. No matter what, we are His, and He is ours and nothing will change that!

Let’s Pray

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you, Father God, that Your love draws me closer each and every day. I come under Your wings knowing that nothing can ever get between You and I!

In Jesus Name,

Amen
