Our scripture for the Daily Devotional today is taken from Jeremiah 29:10-14. God lives and takes pleasure in the worship and praise of His church. One day, all creation will bow before His throne and exalt His Kingdom and throne.
“This is what the Lord says: “When seventy years are completed for Babylon, I will come to you and fulfill my good promise to bring you back to this place. 11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back from captivity.[b] I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile.”
Every knee will bow and tongue will confess!
God has a plan. Not a plan B or backup plan, but 1 plan. Everything that God does is working toward the single purpose of the establishment of His Kingdom.
Part of God’s plan is His desire to be sought after. As our Father, God wants to be called upon by us His children. God wants us to come and pray unto Him, seeking His way and hand moving in our world.
God has promised us that those who seek Him, will find Him. Finding God will not only give us freedom but a sense of belonging. He will bring us in, give us a place within His body, building His church through our efforts. Let us worship and seek after God today, He is the greatest gift of all, after all!
Let’s Pray
Dear Father,
In Jesus Name,
Amen
