Our scripture for the Daily Devotional today is taken from Hebrews 10:19-25. It is only too easy to speak words of confidence and faith at the onset. So often ignorance gives way to second-guessing as the winds and challenges face our hopes and dreams.
“Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, 20 by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body, 21 and since we have a great priest over the house of God, 22 let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, 25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”
Faith is stronger than circumstances
A quote that I am reminded of constantly speaks of not questioning through the dark times what God had revealed in the light. It is easy to stand strong and confident at the moment that God gives us His word. How we implement the belief in the tough times is faith!

Talk is cheap. What really counts is the activity and actions that follow it up. We are called to judge the fruit of others and measure our faith by the ability to withstand confrontation.
I have always wondered what faith really is, and how I could measure my faith. I have desired to have faith and be pleasing to my Lord. Following years of challenges where I have seen me question everything, I have come to see that faith is the decision to push on in the strength and conviction of my God!
