Daily Devotional – God Exalted Through the Nations

daily devotional

Our scripture for the Daily Devotional today is taken from Psalm 105:1-7. Let us worship our God and speak of the great works that He has done in our lives. Let us worship God by spreading His glory to all of those around us.

“Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name;
    make known among the nations what he has done.
Sing to him, sing praise to him;
    tell of all his wonderful acts.
Glory in his holy name;
    let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice.
Look to the Lord and his strength;
    seek his face always.

Remember the wonders he has done,
    his miracles, and the judgments he pronounced,
you his servants, the descendants of Abraham,
    his chosen ones, the children of Jacob.
He is the Lord our God;
    his judgments are in all the earth.”

Praise Him in the Morning, Praise Him all day!

What has God done in your life within the past week that I could compel you to share with anyone and everyone that will listen? You shouldn’t have to think too long and hard about it, because God is working a miracle about every 2 seconds in your life. He sustains your heartbeat and breathing lungs over and over every day.

Without God, the simple things that we take for granted, well they would cease to exist. So often we take for granted that we even exist, as though this is something that we have control over.

There is SO much for us to praise and worship our Creator and Father for. Worship is not only heavenward but is also the magnification of God and His name in the eyes of those around us. Let us get better at bragging about our God to anyone that we can talk to.

Let’s Pray

Dear Father,

What an awesome Father, such an amazing Savior You are. I will shout it from the rooftops and whisper it to my neighbor. You are worthy of all the praise and worship!

In Jesus Name,

Amen
