fall scents for your home

Purples

Purples are making there way into the 2012 trend; popular variations include violet, wine and true purple. Purples have a powerful connection with our spiritual and introspective side.

Pink and Red

“The colors of causes” are also making there way into our home. Red is the strongest color in the spectrum and has the most emotional impact. Red resonates passion, romance, energy and courage.

Brown and Blue

Brown and blue have been favorites for several years. Forecasters see chocolate brown on the wane. The browns are going lighter into tan, caramel and camels. Colors of spices and beverages.

Neutral

From rich gray to camel continue to be popular.

Greens
Green continues to gain strength from its association with the growing shift toward eco-chic.

Colors that are not selling are sunny true yellows (although Europeans love them). Orange is another color that’s getting little love, unless it’s corals. Colors that where so popular in the past, have taken a back seat to their bolder cousins.

These unique color combinations give us new freedom to use bright and exotic colors. So, go ahead and break out of your color comfort zone.
