Daily Devotional – Do You See God?

Daily Devotional

Our scripture for the Daily Devotional today is taken from Job 12:7-14. Within the hands of God, He holds us and all of His creation. So when last did you see Him? David records in Psalms 19 that “The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.

“But ask the animals, and they will teach you,
    or the birds in the sky, and they will tell you;
or speak to the earth, and it will teach you,
    or let the fish in the sea inform you.
Which of all these does not know
    that the hand of the Lord has done this?
10 In his hand is the life of every creature
    and the breath of all mankind.
11 Does not the ear test words
    as the tongue tastes food?
12 Is not wisdom found among the aged?
    Does not long life bring understanding?

13 “To God belong wisdom and power;
    counsel and understanding are his.
14 What he tears down cannot be rebuilt;
    those he imprisons cannot be released.”

Creation declares the glory of God

I am one of the fortunate people to live in one of the most beautiful parts of this world. While you can find beauty everywhere, I daily look to the skies and marvel at God and His creation. Thanking my Father for allowing me to live in this corner of His beautiful creation.

As we discuss whether Jesus knows you and me, we are wondering how well we know God ourselves.

Every relationship is a two-way path. We need to trust God as He must trust us. Our trust grows with knowledge. Knowledge grows from seeing and be with. So do you see God?

God and all His glory are evident every day right in front of you. Do you see it? Look around at the sunrise, listen to the birds singing His worship and praise.

Let’s Pray

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you, Father, that You are the one that holds us all. I have seen Your creation and I marvel at what You have created and do each day. I will join the birds in singing to You today!

In Jesus Name,
