Daily Devotional – It’s Always Been God

daily edvotional

Our scripture for the Daily Devotional today is taken from 1 Samuel 2:6-11. It has always been God that has calmed my storms. It has always been Jesus’ blood that has covered my sins, and it will always ever only be Him! I stand before my creator redeemed because of God’s plan!

“The Lord brings death and makes alive;
    he brings down to the grave and raises up.
The Lord sends poverty and wealth;
    he humbles and he exalts.
He raises the poor from the dust
    and lifts the needy from the ash heap;
he seats them with princes
    and has them inherit a throne of honor.

“For the foundations of the earth are the Lord’s;
    on them he has set the world.
He will guard the feet of his faithful servants,
    but the wicked will be silenced in the place of darkness.

“It is not by strength that one prevails;
10     those who oppose the Lord will be broken.
The Most High will thunder from heaven;
    the Lord will judge the ends of the earth.

“He will give strength to his king
    and exalt the horn of his anointed.”

11 Then Elkanah went home to Ramah, but the boy ministered before the Lord under Eli the priest.”

God’s love for us has always been breaking through!

Scripture is full of times where God broke through the barrier between the natural and supernatural. God broke through for Hannah and redeeming her womb with life. God can always break through and redeem your world with life. He will reach out and raise us from death to life.

From the beginning of time, God has planned out His story. While we get to play a role, it is His story and His to control. Hannah prophesized about Jesus, about the Father providing Him with strength and anointing.

God protects and leads His faithful children. The most important thing that God desires is sincerity and faithfulness. Let us step out in faith, knowing that God who has always been involved. He is faithful and just to step in fight us. Confident that He is going to fight on our behalf, let us step out in faith today for Him and His Kingdom.

Let’s Pray

Dear Heavenly Father,

Today I stand upon Your promises and words. You are my north star and guiding light. No matter the waves that crash against me, I will stand firm, because I know that You right there with me!

In Jesus Name,

Amen
