Ten Things…

My cup and my heart overflow with thanksgiving today for more reasons than I have time or space to share. But I thought I’d cite my Top Ten on this Thursday morning as a way to thank God publicly for His abundant blessings. Thank you, Lord, for …

1.  Leading me on a path of healing by providing the necessary resources to improve my health via doctors, books, natural desiccated thyroid medicine, supplements, and the Stop The Thyroid Madness Facebook groups that have been so inspiring, informative, and encouraging.

2.  A strong family that can weather the storms, love each other through disagreements and difficulties, and forgive when feelings are hurt and hearts are wounded.

3.  The gift of time that enables me to serve You, and rest when I need to, and work when I have to, and travel when I want to, and just “be” when You call me to sit at Your feet.

4.  The security and peace I feel because You have and will continue to meet all my needs.

5.  My cotttage-by-the creek where the deer and the antelope roam (well, maybe there’s no antelope, but where lots of bunnies, squirrels, racoons, skunks, ducks, geese, fox, muskrats, dogs, cats, birds, walkers, runners, bikers, and happy children roam).

6.  Gadgets, and power tools, and cameras, and this old, slow computer that enables me to live my life efficiently, productively, and safely.

7.  My children who make me laugh as well as make me cry … You’ve taught me much through them and I’m very grateful for the way You’ve transformed me by teaching me what unconditional love really means.

8.  The strong desire You’ve instilled in me to be creative … You are my hero and the beautiful world You created for us never ceases to thrill me.

9.  Friends … for those people You’ve brought into my life that have loved me through the worst time of my life and have seen me through to the other side.

10.  Your Son … because of Jesus I can face tomorrow in peace, with hope, and with ever-increasing joy.

With a grateful heart,

Lynn
