What does passion mean to you? Passion to me is a strong desire for something. Passion is a longing in your heart, soul, and body for something or someone.
What are you passionate about? What drives you? What are you zealous for? What would you do if no one paid you anything? What do you love? They say if you can find what it is you are truly passionate about as your way of living, you will be able to live a happy life. When you are passionate about something it doesn’t feel like work. You love doing it. You enjoy it so much that you would do it whether you were being paid or not.

Don’t get me wrong, it is nice to get paid for doing your work, but when you are passionate about a cause or something you enjoy doing it is much easier to do it. It is as if you live to do it. You thrive when you are doing it. It could be a million different things. Some people really enjoy doing art. They love drawing, painting, or doing some type of craft. Others enjoy music. They love to play instruments or sing. Some enjoy acting. They love dressing up and getting into different roles.
I love studying the Bible and sharing it with others. I enjoy writing. I always knew it was easier for me to express my feelings in writing than it was through speech, but, I only discovered in the past few years how I could use that passion to share with others through writing blogs and books. I hope you discover your passion, because when you do you get so much joy out of it. Don’t get me wrong, it is still work. Sometimes you may get tired or frustrated, but when you love something you keep coming back to it. No one has to prompt you to do it. You do it because that is what you love.

How does your passion drive you? If you tap into your passion, it can drive you to succeed. It energizes you. It gives you a reason to live. It gives you a purpose.

I agree. It is important to discover what you love and do it. Live with passion!
I’ve always been creative and I love to make things and do arts and crafts. And I’ve always been passionate about the things of God. Now I’m thankful to combine that passion with today’s technology and use them in my online work. Passion keeps the drive going when the bumps in the road show up! 🙂
