Daily Devotional – Jesus Is Worthy Of It All

Daily Devotional

Our scripture for the Daily Devotional scripture today is Revelation 4: 6-11. Personally I am looking forward to the day where I can fall prostrate before God in worship! I long to worship Him without the limitations of my physical body.

Also in front of the throne there was what looked like a sea of glass, clear as crystal.

In the center, around the throne, were four living creatures, and they were covered with eyes, in front and in back. The first living creature was like a lion, the second was like an ox, the third had a face like a man, the fourth was like a flying eagle. Each of the four living creatures had six wings and was covered with eyes all around, even under its wings. Day and night they never stop saying:

fall scents for your home

“‘Holy, holy, holy

is the Lord God Almighty,

who was, and is, and is to come.”

Whenever the living creatures give glory, honor and thanks to him who sits on the throne and who lives for ever and ever, 10 the twenty-four elders fall down before him who sits on the throne and worship him who lives for ever and ever. They lay their crowns before the throne and say:

11 “You are worthy, our Lord and God,
to receive glory and honor and power,
for you created all things,
and by your will they were created
    and have their being.”

I long to be in the presence of God. That totally clear vision of the God of the universes in front of me, being joyful in my praise and worship. We will get the chance for all eternity in heaven to see Him face to face, but let us not forget about His presence. If we believe in an omnipresent God, then God is right before you at this very time.

In faith, we can look upon His beautiful face, and sing praise and shout out worship. We can also join the angels with whispers of declaration anywhere, because by God’s spirit He is there, and He receives His honor and glory with joy!

Only God is worthy of praise, honor, and worship. Not only is He the only living God, but He is the creator of it all. He holds everything in place with such precision and attention. God sits on the throne with Jesus and His Spirit beside Him, fully in control and fully involved.

Take time throughout the day to look at Jesus eyeball to eyeball by faith. Speak words of praise and worship to Him. Thank and remind Him of how grateful you are for His sacrifice on the cross and miracles that you have witnesses. Then tell someone about a miracle that you have seen God perform in your life! Bring glory and honor to Him!

Let’s Pray

Dear Heavenly Father,

I thank You that You have worked the greatest miracle on our behalf, dying on the cross and overcoming death by rising on the third day. Today I choose to focus on You and Your magnificence. Truly You alone are worthy and to You alone, I submit and give my all.

In Jesus name
Amen
