Our scripture for the Daily Devotional today is taken from Psalm 108: 1-6. It always seems to all happen on the same day. At the same time, like a coordinated attack, we find ourselves looking for the earth that has fallen away.
“My heart, O God, is steadfast;
I will sing and make music with all my soul.
2 Awake, harp and lyre!
I will awaken the dawn.
3 I will praise you, Lord, among the nations;
I will sing of you among the peoples.
4 For great is your love, higher than the heavens;
your faithfulness reaches to the skies.
5 Be exalted, O God, above the heavens;
let your glory be over all the earth.

6 Save us and help us with your right hand,
that those you love may be delivered.“
Jesus is here to strengthen your heart
It is the days where the wind is at our backs. It picks us up with its strength and propels us forward. So easily we see things fall into place and we look heavenward saying thank you!
Then there are days that hurt so much. When everything seems to be falling apart and our cry towards of heaven sounds very different. Our cries are full of worry and fear.
We though can trust You, God. You will will come with Your love and strength to stabilize our hearts and minds. With Your right hand God, You will deliver us. I can step forward with confidence gained by the wonders that You have worked in my life and throughout the generations.
I choose to look past the present worries that I see before me. Look to the heavens and see our savior, gain strength from Jesus’ promises.

Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you, God, that You have offered us Your strength. Today I choose to feed off of Your strength, as You strengthen and steady my heart.
