Daily Devotional – Encouragement For The Moment

Daily Devotional

Our scripture for the Daily Devotional today is taken from Isaiah 41: 8-13. With all that surrounds you, it is so easy to be consumed by all of it. Paralysis by analysis, you don’t know where or how to take any step!

But you, Israel, my servant,

    Jacob, whom I have chosen,
    you descendants of Abraham my friend,
I took you from the ends of the earth,
    from its farthest corners I called you.
I said, ‘You are my servant’;
    I have chosen you and have not rejected you.
10 So do not fear, for I am with you;
    do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
    I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

fall scents for your home

11 “All who rage against you
    will surely be ashamed and disgraced;
those who oppose you
    will be as nothing and perish.
12 Though you search for your enemies,
    you will not find them.
Those who wage war against you
    will be as nothing at all.
13 For I am the Lord your God
    who takes hold of your right hand
and says to you, Do not fear;
    I will help you.”

God has chosen you!

God has found you! No matter where you tried to hide from Him or cover yourself in, God has uncovered you. He chose you and has come to say that He has not rejected you. You can not hide or run from His chasing, He has found you or would find you, no matter the corners that you find yourself in.

God has chosen to be with you. He has chosen to fight for you and protect you. All that you need to do is submit yourself to His righteousness and His provision. God has planned to strengthen you right where you are. There is no need to worry or fret, no matter what is happening in your life at this time, God wants to protect and care for you!

At the moment that you have right now, God has something for you. Right now God has given you all that you need to experience Him. All that you need to do is open your eyes and your heart to see God! Rather than focusing on everything else and what lies ahead of you later today. Choose to see God’s provision and saving grace right now. God will not let you be disgraced. He will help you!

Let’s Pray

Dear Heavenly Father,

Forgive me, God, for not taking refuge in You. Jesus, you know the temptations that I face to manage and attempt to achieve on my own efforts. Help me by Your Spirit to submit and release it all, so that my God, the only living God can fight on my behalf!

In Jesus Name,

Amen
